An opinion leader of Sokebolou Community in Ogulagha kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State, Mr. Diver Stephen Abanre has added his voice to that of others in congratulating the traditional ruler of Ogulagha Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Elder (Capt) King Joseph I. Timiyan (JP), Torububor 1. Agbonu, the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha Kingdom on his 15th coronation anniversary.
Abanre issued the congratulatory message earlier today while celebrating the revered Niger Delta monarch, Agbonu via a statement issued to newsmen in Warri, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers.
The revered opinion leader, Steven Abanre had particularly lauded the reign of the paramount ruler of Ogulagha Kingdom for working assiduously for a better Ogulagha Kingdom.
Philanthropist Diver Stephen Abanre maintained that since the ascension to the highly coveted throne of Ogulagha Kingdom 15 years ago, the Kingdom has grown tremendously and has become a topic for discourse in the Nigerian state.
He noted that his emergence as king of the kingdom has brought unprecedented development, stressing that he is optimistic that Agbonu is still working and will continue to work for the total liberation of the kingdom from the shackles of underdevelopment.
Hailing the Ogulagha paramount ruler, Abanre maintained that the move to add more chiefs to the list of Chiefs in Ogulagha Kingdom is a laudable one that deserves accolade, ‘I congratulates all our new chiefs, your conferment of chieftaincy titles is a well deserved one ‘.
However, the philanthropist enjoined all sons and daughters of the Kingdom to always give peace a chance by joining hands with the king to move the Kingdom forward to the envy of others.
In his words:”My day will be incomplete if I fail to congratulate my great king on the 15th coronation anniversary, it is not easy but it has been God all the way.
“It Is my prayer that the Lord Almighty shall continue to guard and protect you, your reign shall usher in more progress and even development throughout our kingdom” Abanre opined.
Meanwhile, Diver Abanre also appealed to Agbonu not to be deterred with the good plans he has for the Kingdom
