Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta who doubles as the Chairman house committee on security made the commendation yesterday in Asaba via a statement he personally signed and issued, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers while celebrating the birth anniversary of the Delta South PDP Chairman, Dr. Julius Takeme.
Forteta maintained that the short period Takeme holds sway as chairman of the party in Delta South, he has worked tirelessly with his exco members and other critical stakeholders in advancing the unity of the party internally.
He particularly lauded Takeme’s resolve for a consultative visit with his exco, adding that such visit is necessary and would no doubt cement the bond of unity among the various critical stakeholders in the senatorial district.
Speaking further, Forteta said he is never in doubt about the delivering leadership capacities of Takeme, adding that he is a square peg in a square hole for the job, opining that he is truly a strong party man.
Hon. Asupa had also prayed for long life and more political advancement to befall on Takeme in the nearest future.
