To us at the John Dekawei Foundation (JDF), a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), educating and developing the Girl Child is very key in the society as women plays pivotal role in the society. The foundation believes that when a Girl Child is educated, she can do exploits for the betterment of the society, without education one would not have heard about the great women in the world. In some countries, women have become even presidents, legislators, lawyers, justices and what have you, we can also see the strength they are putting in whatever they do. Without proper education, that woman that we are celebrating, we would not have heard so much about her.
However, the modalities of the Scholarship is that the N500,000,00 will be paid directly to Queen Alice account in three tranches.
The first payment will be N200,000,00 with admission letter from the intended university as a proof.
