A Niger Delta based group, operating under the auspices of Common Men Assembly, CMA has congratulated His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa and his deputy Barr. (Deacon) Kingsley Burutu Otuaro on the victory during the Saturday’s polls in Delta.
The congratulatory note was handed to newsmen in Warri yesterday by the national chairman of the group, Jude Angodideke, a medical practitioner, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.
In the statement entitled songs of victory, Angodideke had noted that the victory of Okowa and Otuaro is divine and shows how much Deltans love them in the administration of the state so far.
The CMA boss had praised the duo for always putting Deltans first in their dealings, stressing that men like Okowa and his deputy are rare political species in Delta State and beyond.
However, the group had also congratulated Hon. Asupa Forteta, member-elect, Delta State House of Assembly, Burutu constituency I; Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin member-elect, Delta State House of Assembly, Burutu II constituency and Mr. Emomotimi Guwor, member-elect, Delta State House of Assembly, Warri South-West constituency.
He had enjoined Deltans to get ready for the second coming of Okowa to consolidate on his existing legacies across the state.
