Speaker of the Gbaramatu Youths Council Mobile Parliament, Sen. Barr. Frank Ekpemupolo has congratulated Comr. Bekenawei Pedro as chairman elect of Oil rich Kokodiagbene Community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.
The GYC Mobile Parliament Speaker, Ekpemupolo issued the congratulatory message to newsmen in Warri yesterday on behalf of the parliament via a statement, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers.
Sen. Ekpemupolo particularly described the emergence and victory of Comr. Pedro Bekenawei as chairman elect of the oil bearing community of Kokodiagbene in Gbaramatu Kingdom as a well deserved one, stressing that there is truly time for everything.
While hailing the process for its free, fair and credible nature, Sen. Frank had called on Mr. Pedro Bekenawei to see his emergence and victory as a call to duty, adding that he must carry everyone along in his tenure as leader of the community.
However, while declaring both his legal and personal support for Bekenawei, Ekpemupolo stated that he is not in doubt of the delivering capabilities of Pedro, pointing out that he is a strong hand in the system.
Speaking further, Barr. Frank had congratulated all those that emerged victorious in their various positions, stressing that a better and stronger Kokodiagbene is in the making, praying that the needed wisdom to pilot the affairs of the community shall be given to the new leadership elect by the Lord Almighty.
Meanwhile, he expressed optimism that the Bekenawei led exco will tackle the multifaceted woes bedeviling the commuity for too long.
