​Funeral: Mama Akpenzu, aged 148 to be buried in Ogbe-Ijoh on Friday

Ogbe Ijoh, headquaters of Warri South West Local Government Area in Delta State will be agog with great personalities across Nigeria on Friday 19th of April 2019 as Mama Akpenzu Fiyenafa, Nee Kurogede, popularly known as Akpala will be laid to eternal rest in her hometown Ogbe-Ijoh.This was contained in a release issued to newsmen in Warri, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper, signed by the duo of Mr. Famous Fiyenafa and Chief Joel Postmaster on behalf of the family and children.

However, a family source, Mr. Author Prebor, former People’s Democratic Party, PDP Chairman, ward 11, Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State had hinted The Liberator Newspaper that arrangements to give Mama Akpala a befiting burial at Ogbe-Ijoh is on top gear.

Prebor, a revered chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Burutu Local Government Area had invited Niger Deltans and the general public to grace the burial ceremony of mama Fiyenafa.

It would be recalled that one of the finest Ijaw musical expert, Chief Kingsley Takemebo will be live on stage to entertain guests during the anticipated big ceremony on Friday next week.

When contacted, Chief Kingsley, the highly rated Ijaw music star had promised to do justice to what he knows how to do best.
