The Hon. Pukon Campaign Organisation (HOPCO) for the 2020 Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) National Election has congratulated its principal, Rt. Hon. Frank Pukon on his victory as secretary of Council.
This was contained in a congratulatory statement signed by chairman of the campaign organisation, Comr. Morris Esegha on behalf of HOPCO, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.
Comr. Esegha while congratulating Pukon on behalf of all members of the campaign organisation noted that his boss is a man with impeccable track records who has been following activities in council for years, making sacrifices for a better Ijaw nation.
The statement noted that Rt. Hon. Frank Pukon is balanced intellectually, socially, economically, cultural and politically to deliver fully to the betterment of Ijaw nation with his new office as national secretary of council.
The HOPCO Chairman, Comr. Esegha had particularly appreciated the 2020 Electoral Committee of IYC, headed by Barr. Bekewei Ajuwa for conducting a free, fair and credible election.
Esegha also lauded the peaceful atmosphere put in place by the people of Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, stressing that the entire Ijaw nation is proud of them.
To the delegates and the entire Ijaw nation, Comr. Morris stated that the victory of his boss wouldn’t have been possible without the Lord Almighty, the delegates and the entire Ijaw nation, noting that it is not a matter of who wins or loses but Ijaw nation won.
The statement stressed that Pukon will never dissapoint the Ijaw nation for the confidence bestowed on him as the pressing needs of the Ijaw nation will be critically looked into and addressed collectively with the 8th national executive and the Ijaw nation at large.
