12 Years After, Ogulagha Kingdom Traditional Colossus Bebapere Jackson Tuaghaye To Be Remembered

The people of Ogulagha community in oil rich Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State have concluded plans to mark the 12 years remembrance of a departed sage, Snr. Boanerge Chief Bebapere Jackson Tuaghaye.

The announcement to hold a remembrance ceremony for the late Ogulagha Kingdom traditional colossus was made known to newsmen in Warri recently via a statement signed by Comr. Comrade Bebapere Tuaghaye John, former president general of Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council (OKYC) on behalf of the family, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers. 

The former Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council president, Comr. John Bebapere Tuaghaye had hinted our reporter that the late patriarch Chief Jackson Tuaghaye Bebapere died on the 15th of February 2010, a situation he described as painful even till this moment. 

The statement further asserted that until the death of the traditional luminary, he was a major contractor to many IOCs operating within the Territory of Ogulagha kingdom and beyond.

“We the Children of BEBAPERE TUAGHAYE JACKSON have deemed it pertinent to once again tell the whole world how much we missed our dearly disciplinarian father, focused , caring dad, he had no enemies and very clean/ neat father,  in particular, the Ogulagha Kingdom and other Kingdoms he hailed from.

“That the vacuum he  left behind still remains yet to be filled with his likes of person(s) in our Ogulagha Kingdom and beyond.  We will be marking his remembrance come 15th of February 2021 at Ogulgha community.” Comr. John Bebapere Tuaghaye stated. 

Meanwhile, the Ogulagha Kingdom Youth leader had invited friends, well wishers and members of the general public to grace the historic occasion at Ogulagha community, stressing that all arrangements towards hosting dignitaries have been put in place already. 

It would be recalled that until his death, late Snr. Boanerge Chief Jackson Bebapere Tuaghaye was the Bebetelemowei of Ogulagha Kingdom, a revered chieftaincy title that was given to him owing to his vast knowledge of issues in Ogulagha Kingdom and the entire Niger Delta region at large.
