2019: NABLOGS visit’s Pondi, presents portrait as a mark for his victory
The leadership elect, National Association of Burutu Local Government Students, NABLOGS led by its president Comr. Azigbeotu K. Samson has presented a portrait for Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, House of Representatives as a mark for his victory recorded during the reps election.
Azigbeotu had described the national lawmaker as a productive politician in Burutu Local Government, Niger Delta and beyond, stressing that his landslide victory at the polls is a testimony of his good leadership in the constituency.
The NABLOGS president elect made the assertion on Sunday in Warri during a congratulatory visit the student body paid to the federal lawmaker at his residence.
It would be recalled that the National Association of Burutu Local Government Students, NABLOGS is the apex student body covering all students in the Local Government.
The Liberator can report that Hon. Pondi is a pioneer leader in NABLOGS and is now a patron of the revered students body in Burutu Local Government.
However, in a swift reaction while receiving the portrait gift, Hon. Julius Pondi had appreciated the students for their gesture, stressing that he will continue to build on the trust of the people of the entire Burutu Federal Constituency, adding that he will never turn his back against NABLOGS.
On his part, Comr. Paul Kemezi who was part of the students delegation had earlier in his speech commended Pondi for his contributions towards the growth and development of the association over the years, he had particularly described the national lawmaker as the last hope of NABLOGS.
The NABLOGS president elect was accompanied by other members of his exco and stakeholders of the association.
