Delta Ijaw President Generals Forum Congratulate Tompolo On Surveillance Contract
A group operating under the auspices of Delta Ijaw President Generals Forum has congratulated High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo on the award of pipline surveillance security contract awarded to Tompolo by the federal government of Nigeria.
The revered group expressed optimism that Tompolo is capable and will do the job perfectly, stressing that the choice of Tompolo is the best choice ever.
However, the Forum had particularly lauded the Federal Government of Nigeria for awarding the contract to an Ijaw who is a foremost leader in Nigeria and Niger Delta in particular, adding that the group is so excited.
The group made their position known via a statement signed by the duo of Chief Godday Lyon, chairman and Hon Chief Richard Enaredei (JP), Public Relations Officer (PRO), a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.
Nevertheless, the group had called on Niger Deltans to all embrace Tompolo and work for the sanitisation of the Niger Delta environment, stressing that internal misunderstanding is not necessary.

The origin of Delta forum of kingdoms, communities and clans President General.There was no generally known President Generals body in the administration of ijaw kingdoms, communities and clans.
The whole thing started precisely on 11th October,2018. When the office of the special adviser to the governor on rural development, peace building and conflict resolution called for stakeholders workshop for Delta south at isoko development union hall.
It was special adviser Hon. Shadrach Agadiga who in collaborated with other coordinators to assemble the ijaw charter. Chief Goddey Garenkeme Lyon was called upon to nominate credible chiefs from ijaw extraction, only fourteen (14) kingdoms were captured ,these persons that were invited to attend the above workshop as PGs by their invitation unknown them later metamorphosed to become the first ever President Generals of the ijaw ethnicity.
On 17th of February 2019, the special advisers, advisers and personal assistants headed by Alhaji Barr. Isa Clark ,called a meeting of the existing Pgs to a meeting in Warri were the number of ijaw Pgs was increased to the fifty (50) with exception of Gbaramatu having four (4) unfilled chances.The forum has 14 executive positions as follows;1. It’s membership is lifetime. In case of the demise of any member, the replacement is made from the affected Kingdom Traditional Rulers to the forum chairman
