A group operating under the auspices of Ijaw Interest Advocates (IIA), popularly known as Izanzan Intellectual Camp has defended new Interim Administrator of the Niger Delta Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP),  Major General Barry Tariye Ndiomu (retd) from his transducers.

This was contained in a statement personally signed and made available to newsmen in Warri earlier today by Arerebo Salaco Yerinmene SNR , National Coordinator of IIA, a copy of which was made available to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.

The statement read below:

Press Release

We have keenly observed the recent attacked on the new Interim Administrator (IA)

of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Major General Barry Tariye Ndiomu (retd) and bold to state that its corruption fighting back.

On a positive direction, we are strongly admonishing those fighting the IA for on unworthy ground to desist while imploring them to fight those that had messed up the programme.

While we are yet to conclude our findings, we have already realised that fake contracts where awarded, contracts sums hikes. Those behind this evil act are the same people attacking the IA from behind to divert attention.

However, after our all inclusive investigation, we will come up with a comprehensive report on the state of the programme and we are very sure that the Ijaw Nation, Niger Delta and beneficiaries of the programm will know those sabotagizing the programme.

Indisputably, the Nigeria Federal government is doing their part in the programme but those that appointed to man the programme failed woefully in collaboration with some of the greedy exmilitant generals.

While are calling on the federal governennt to have a rethink of the shutdown of the programm to mainatain the existing peace in the region, we are imploring the IA to be focused and never give attention to those attacking him for unworthy ground but give priority attention on how to salvage the programme.

Signed for the Ijaw Interest Advocates (IIA); Izanzan Intellectual Camp

Arerebo Salaco Yerinmene SNR

(National Coordinator)
