A group operating under the aegis of Burutu for Pondi (BFP) has backed the re-election bid of Hon.  Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency in the house of representatives to continue come 2023.

The group had particularly appealed to all delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State to reconsider the choice of Pondi as they go into the party’s primaries.

The Burutu Community based group issued the endorsement statement yesterday signed by Mr. Ebike Ekemieyefa, Engr. Aminu Suyei, Mr. Daniel Ekemieyefa as well as Mr. Gilbert Ekemieyefa, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.

The group had maintained that the overwhelming performance of Pondi in the house of representatives within the last years has been impressive and deserved to be returned for more progress.

They continued that after keenly following the activities of Pondi over the years, as a legislator, he has done so well by facilitating infrastructural development across all wards in the Local Government, stressing that he is accessible and a voice to reckon with in the house of representatives.

The statement had appealed to the PDP delegates and critical stakeholders of the party not to look elsewhere as the young and dynamic Pondi is already delivering a purposeful and productive representation in the constituency characterised with unprecedented progress like never before in the Constituency.

However, they particularly commended Pondi for the multi million naira ultra modern town hall he built for Burutu Community, stressing that a glowing history has been made in the life of the community that will continue to stand the test of time.

Meanwhile, the group had stated that Burutu Federal Constituency is in a safe hand with Pondi, adding that let the progress continue in the constituency come 2023, stressing that they will continue to mobilise in whatever way they can to support his re-election bid as a political messiah to the Burutu people.
