Hon. Joshua Evene, a political leader in ward 11, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State have endorsed Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives to continue giving the people of Burutu Federal Constituency a qualitative leadership come 2023.
Hon. Joshua made the endorsement via a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Warri earlier today while marking his birth anniversary, stressing that Pondi remains the only antidote for a better representation in the constituency.
According to him, the endorsement of Hon. Pondi Julius to continue the progress in Burutu Federal Constituency have become necessary owing to the fact that he has performed well in discharging his duties as a member representing the constituency in the Federal House of Representatives.
However, Evene noted that apart from Pondi performing his legislative functions in the national assembly by raising key motions, sponsoring bills to better the People of Burutu Federal Constituency, he has also performed well in discharging his oversight functions as a lawmaker, stressing that his constituency projects spread across the whole federal constituency.
Nevertheless, Hon. Joshua maintained that Hon. Pondi has also influenced a lot of political appointments and have also used his connections in the state to ensure that the Governor of Delta State construct roads and other legacy projects in Burutu Local Government Area.
While lauding Pondi on his constituency projects across Burutu Federal Constituency, Evene particularly hailed the federal lawmaker for the multi-million Naira Town Hall Project in Burutu Community, describing it has one of its kind.
Meanwhile, Joshua had vowed that he will use his body and resources to join others in the constituency in ensuring that Pondi is returned to continue the progress, stressing that Burutu as a federal constituency can only move forward and not backward, adding that Pondi is the only visible remedy for a better Burutu Federal Constituency.
