A youth leader in Patani Local Government Area of Delta State, Comr. Raymond Nana-ere has reiterated that Hon. Nicholas  Ebomo  Mutu has failed the people of Patani/Bomadi Federal Constituency in the  House of representatives, describing his representation as unproductive.

The youth leader made the assertion earlier today while hinting newsmen on the reasons why he is massively mobilising and supporting Rt. Hon. Basil Okolobawei Ganagana for the Patani/Bomadi Federal Constituency come 2023.

He noted that despite being one of the  oldest lawmaker in the Federal House of representatives since 1999, making it  23 years as of  now, he has not been able to attain the position of being a principal officer like in the case of others that have not stayed long in the  House but  would become principal officers.

Comr.  Raymond continued that apart from the lawmaker failing monumentally from his representation as a lawmaker representing the people of Patani/Bomadi Federal Constituency for over two decades, he has allegedly failed to also to draw infrastructural development to his primary constituency.

However, the youth leader maintained that just has he has failed to perform his oversight functions as a lawmaker, he has also failed in  carrying out his primary duties in sponsoring reasonable bills that will positively affect his people as well  as raising motions in the House in defence of his people like his counterparts are doing in other constituencies.

In his words: “Mutu has been perpetually quiet in the  House as if all is well  with the Patani/Bomadi Federal Constituency. That house is meant for talking intellectually and not to be mute without bringing anything to your people.

“Patani/Bomadi Federal Constituency is meant for all  of us, one man cannot continue to keep us in darkness for all these years, 23 years is enough, you have to give way for others to do their part, your representation does not make sense to us anymore. We are really tired.

“While my presence will be very visible in the media, it is our resolve that Rt. Hon. Basil Okolobawei Ganagana be given the chance to represent us this time around come 2023.

“I want to once again appeal to our noble delegates to cast their votes for Ganagana for a vibrant and productive representation in our dear Federal Constituency, our constituency is dying and not progressing in anyway when compared to other constituencies”. Raymond added.
