…Hails Governor Okowa on developmental strides in Delta

Chairman of the Delta South Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),  Chief (Dr) Julius Takeme (JP) on Thursday held a critical expanded exco meeting with executive members of his exco and various PDP local government chairmen in Delta South. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report. In his opening remark during the crucial meeting held on Thursday 29th of April at the Delta South PDP senatorial secretariat in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief (Dr) Julius Takeme hinted members of his exco and various PDP local government chairmen on the importance of the meeting. He noted that the expanded exco meeting have become necessary owing to the fact that the party just came out from local government elections in the state, stressing that there is need to address some of the fallouts internally within the party arising from the local government elections and other sundry issues. Meanwhile, addressing the press after a marathon deliberation on the way forward, Hon. John Okoroloko, Secretary of the Delta South Senatorial District Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who spoke on behalf of the PDP family maintained that a committee was set up to look into pending issues from the local government elections. Mr. John Okoroloko asserted that setting up of the committee is key to tackle internal issues that are necessary for the party to move forward to sustain its dominance in the senatorial district and beyond. The revered secretary of the Delta South Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. John Okoroloko had particularly appreciated the people of Delta South and Deltans in voting massively for the party which culminated to its unprecedented victory during the LGA polls in the state. 

He continued that the PDP will continue to work out ways in ensuring that Delta truly becomes a state where every Deltan will be proud of, saying that Governor Okowa is doing justice in this regard. 

Meanwhile, Okoroloko had lauded the performance of His Excellency, Sen. (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State, describing him as a blessing to Delta State. 

The Delta South PDP Secretary asserted that Okowa’s visible road projects across the state, youth empowerment programme, his drive on the girl child development in the state, other critical infrastructural development, peace and security, listening to the plights of his people, building a stronger and more united PDP  have made him a rare positive political breed in Delta State. 

He maintained that the developmental strides of Okowa will continue to be a threat to others as it will be difficult to surpass what he is doing for Deltans within six years, adding that Deltans should continue to give Governor Okowa the needed cooperation for him to completely executive his stronger agenda. 

On 2023, Okoroloko said the party is working closely with all its structures nationwide to the ward level in order to reclaim power from the All Progressive Congress (APC) come 2023, stressing that the APC has brought bad luck and unprecedented hardship to Nigerians. 

The Delta South PDP scribe had urged Nigerians to get ready in voting out the APC come  2023 for the PDP to occupy the presidency for Nigeria to work again, adding that the party in Delta South is working in consonance with other structures in the state to continue its dominance in the state, noting that electoral victory depends largely on the grass root which is the ward level, asserting that the party is working hard along this regard.
