It was indeed a political gathering in Delta State on Thursday as a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress  (APC) and a former two term Chairman of the APC in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Prince Bomieghan Owei hosted the Director General (DG) of the Coalition of Support Groups for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (COSGABAT) Hon. Akin Thomas Babagide and his entourage in Udu, near Warri, Delta State yesterday.

The consultative meeting hosted by Prince Bomieghan Owei had in attendance several All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders across Delta State as speaker after speaker have continued to declare their support for Bola Tinubu, stressing that his emergence as the APC presidential candidate for the 2023 general election is a sign of good omen for Nigeria.

The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report that the Tinubu delegation was received by Prince Bomieghan Owei and the Delta APC stakeholders at his mansion in  Oputu Lane by Ovwian Town, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.

However, Hon. Akin Thomas Babagide, the DG Coalition of Support Groups for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (COSGABAT) in his speech had appreciated Prince Bomieghan Owei and other APC leaders in Delta State for the hosting, stressing that they will continue to owe them in high esteem as they work together in synergy to ensure that Tinubu becomes the next President of the country come 2023.

Hon. Thomas continued that part of the reason behind their visit was that Delta State is critical when it comes to the politics of Nigeria, stressing that they had come to consult Bomieghan and the APC family in Delta to see how they can brainstorm on the way forward to ensure that Tinubu, presidential candidate of the APC gets a smooth victory in Delta State come 2023 Presidential election.

Babagide continued that like what is trending in other states, they would want a situation where the Tinubu Support Groups  in Delta State would build at least one million supporters for Tinubu in Delta ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Speaking further, Hon. Akin promised that the Tinubu Support Groups  in Delta would  donate a befitting building to be used as  Tinubu’ s campaign office in Warri, Delta State, stressing that with such, the APC presidential candidate will be so happy and grateful.

It would be recalled that Hon. Akin Thomas Babagide was accompanied by Mr. Babatunde, Director General (DG) Logistics, Tinubu Support Group, Nigeria to consult Prince Bomieghan Owei and other APC leaders in Delta State.

Nevertheless, Prince Bomieghan Owei, who is also an alleged aspirant for House of Assembly, Burutu North, under the APC had responded on behalf of the APC leaders and Tinubu support groups in Delta State.

Prince Bomieghan Owei particularly commended Akin for visiting the APC stakeholders and Tinubu Support groups  in Delta State, stressing that they will do all within their powers to build a strong support base for Tinubu in Delta with serious minded people, adding  that while they will also donate cash for the Tinubu project, they would also need his financial support as they have spent a lot already for the project before even his emergence as the APC presidential flag bearer for 2023 just as they are still spending now.

Bomieghan assured Hon. Akin that if they are unable to get a full building donated by anyone to use as his campaign office in Delta, he noted that they might opt for renting of a befitting edifice where they hope to donate money to rent an edifice for Tinubu’s campaign office in Warri, Delta State.

Meanwhile, after much deliberation, Akin and the Delta APC stakeholders and Tinubu Support groups  had agreed on July 23rd to host the APC 2023 Presidential candidate in Warri.

High point of the ceremony was snapping of group photographs between DG Thomas, his entourage  and the Delta Tinubu Support Groups and APC  stakeholders led by Prince Bomieghan Owei.
