A group operating under the auspices of APC Progressive Youth Movement, South South Zone on Sunday congratulated Bola Tinubu, President elect, Federal Republic of Nigeria on his victory.

The group in a statement jointly signed by the duo of Egenimienkumo F. Eric, National Chairman and Amb. John Dekawei as National Mobilisation Officer in Warri, Delta State earlier today, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide noted that Tinubu is the right man to lead the country at this point in time.

However, the duo of Eric and Dekawei while congratulating Tinubu had told Nigerians to get ready to render their support for Tinubu towards the growth and development of the country, stressing that Tinubu will make a good President.

Speaking further, the APC Progressive Youth Movement, South South Zone had also congratulated all APC candidates that have won various national assembly offices across the South South Zone, stressing that they are happy because their mobilisation was not in vein during the campaigns across the Zone.

Nevertheless, Dekawei and Eric had lauded the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for what they described as the most credible, free and fair election in Nigeria, particularly in recent times.

According to them, the victory of Tinubu is divine and has been ordained by the Lord Almighty, adding that with Tinubu, Nigeria will work again.

Moreover, the statement had admonished opposition parties to be noble enough to congratulate Tinubu and not to distract Nigerians with unnecessary court cases.

While commenting on Delta State, the group had urged Deltans to vote massively for Omo-Agege as Governor of the state during the March 11th 2023 Governorship election.

Meanwhile, they continued that with the APC Government at the centre, two Senators in Delta State and with Omo-Agege as Governor of the state, everything will be one page for the proper development of the state.

The statement particularly charged Deltans to vote for only APC candidates in the forthcoming Governorship election and state assembly elections, stating that Omo-Agege has the required leadership ingredients to govern Delta State to the promised land.
