Former chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogbe-Ijoh Federal Ward 1, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, Amb. Comr. Mamamu Bene Youkore, popularly known as young chief on Wednesday tackled the Ogbe-Ijoh Federal Ward PDP over comment on his defection.

While reacting to a publication wherein the PDP described him and others who defected to the APC as “situational loyalists”, Mamamu said the PDP has failed as a party as there are so many cases of impunity and people playing the role of a demigod.

However, Mamamu who is a grassroot leader in Warri South-West is the President of Independent Grassroot Liberators (IGL), President Niger Delta Youth Council (NDYC) and also President of Owners of Oil Producing Communities, Western Zone.

Mamamu who made his reaction via a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Warri, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide earlier today noted that while he will not join issues with the party, he described PDP in Ogbe-Ijoh as a drowning party.

According to him, he said to keep the records straight, he was made PDP secretary of Diebiri ward campaign Council during the last local government election.

Nevertheless, he continued that he also contested as Councillor under the PDP in the last local government election.

Speaking further, Mamamu said the aforementioned is not even part of his mobilisation for PDP during general elections, stressing that the March 18th will show the difference.

Meanwhile, he had tasked all his supporters to remain calm as they will all work for the APC to win.
