The President urged Nigerians to vote for their preferred candidates even if they are offered money in exchange for votes by politicians.

President Muhammadu Buhari has cast his vote at polling unit 003, Sarkin Yara A in Daura, Katsina State.

Buhari, however, called on politicians to turn a new leaf and stop buying votes, according to a report by NAN.

“If they (politicians) still give you money, collect, but vote for your preferred candidates,” Buhari said.

He thanked the electorate for trusting the All Progressive sCongress (APC) in the February 25 presidential and National Assembly elections where the party’s candidate, Bola Tinubu, emerged as the winner.
