Former YPP Delta South Chairman Joseph Congratulates Oborevwori On Massive Victory

Former Chairman of the Delta South Senatorial District, Young Progressives Party (YPP), Comr. Preye Joseph has congratulated Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and Governor Elect, on his victory at the March 11th Governorship poll in the state. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report.
Comr. Preye Joseph who is now a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) issued the congratulatory message to newsmen in Warri earlier today, a copy of which was made available to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.
According to him, the emergence of Oborevwori as Governor of the state elect is divine and a reflection of the true will of Deltans.
Speaking further, the former YPP Chairman, Delta South, Comr. Preye Joseph also hailed INEC on the free, fair and credible Governorship and House of Assembly election in Delta State.
However, it would be recalled that few hours to the Delta State Governorship and House of Assembly election in Delta State, Comr. Preye Joseph who was the then YPP Chairman in Delta State openly aligned and endorsed all PDP candidates and directed its agents across Delta South to work for the PDP, a situation he said contributed to the overwhelming victory of the PDP.
He continued that their defection move was orchestrated by Amb. Dr. Chief Julius Takeme (JP), PDP Chairman, Delta South Senatorial District.
Meanwhile, Preye had called on opposition elements to be democratic enough to accept defeat.
