Tonlagha Pens Powerful Congratulatory Message To Oborevwori, Guwor

A Niger Delta Youth Leader and renowned philanthropist, Sir Victor Tonlagha, a business tycoon has congratulated Rt. Hon. Chief Sheriff Oborevwori, Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly on his Governorship election victory via a powerful congratulatory message.

Victor Tonlagha had also congratulated Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, member representing Warri South West, Delta State House of Assembly on his victory, stressing that he feels so excited.

Tonlagha had in separate messages he personally signed and made available to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide yesterday particularly admonished the Governor Elect and Guwor to always rule with the fear of God, adding that power only belongs to God.

Speaking further, Mr. Victor while appreciating Deltans and the people of Warri South-West for voting for the PDP, he had tasked Oborevwori and Guwor to rule with open mind by forgiving all those that may have wronged them while politicking and also reconcile with whoever that they may have offended too.

The message to the Delta State Governor Elect, reads below:

Your Excellency, The Governor Elect, Delta State, Rt. Hon. Chief Sheriff Oborevwori and Speaker Delta State House of Assembly,

On Behalf of myself and all the constituencies that I represents, i congratulate you on your emergence as the Governor Elect of Delta State in the just concluded governorship elections held on Saturday 11th March 2023 under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Your victory is a victory for all Deltans irrespective of political affiliation as it shows that the hand of the Almighty God is truly on our dear state.

Your emergence is a major pointer that politics today is tilting towards meritocracy and not the other way round. You contested the election against several qualified fellow sons of Delta State whom I am confident also has the nterest of Delta State but God has chosen you.

Your campaign slogan M.O.R.E for Delta is one which encapsulates the whole yearning of the masses and we expect that you will hit the ground running as you face this daunting task. The task ahead is enormous but the fact that you have goodwill from across board should make the task a bit easy for you and we hope that you will use this goodwill to make Deltans proud of you.

Let your word be your bond. Let there be a positive difference seen and felt across the state. The best way to thank Deltans for this mandate is by giving it your best shot and delivering on your campaign promises.

A lot of trust and confidence has been bestowed upon you and we expect that you do not disappoint.
