The oil city of Warri, Delta State will be shutdown with lots of activities today following the marriage ceremony of leading Niger Delta leader Gen. (Priest) Freedom Binaebi Adowei as he gets set to exchange marital vows with his heartbeat Anita Popo, a beauty queen from Gbaramatu Kingdom.

According to an information obtained by The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide, made available by Gen. Adowei, it stated that while the traditional marriage ceremony will be taking place by 8:am on Saturday 25th March 2023 at Ekete Waterside Udu Road Warri, Udu Local government area of Delta State.

The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report that reception will follow immediately at Delta Careers College Field Airport Road, Warri Uvwie LGA by 12 Noon on same day.

However, the duo of Adowei and Popo had invited friends and members of the general public to grace their epoch making marriage ceremony, stressing that arrangements toward hosting as many as possible dignitaries has been concluded as it is going to be wonderful and interesting with lots of entertaining activities.

On entertainment, Adowei noted that at the venue of the traditional marriage (payment of dowry) at Ekete Waterside in Udu Road, the duo of Chief Kingsley Takemebo, alias the Mienkuro and Prince Smally Okpe will mount the stage to thrill dignitaries at the traditional marriage ceremony venue.

He continued that at the reception venue of the marriage, two Ijaw musical giants, King Pereama Freetown and South South King Barrister S. Smooth will both be on stage to thrill dignitaries at the Delta Careers College Field.
