The founding fathers, sub-community leaders and the traditional institution of Meinbutus ably led by His Royal Highness King – Jerry Nakpose Prebor (Snr.) met at the Amananaowei’s palace yesterday, where the 6th executive council of Meinbutus was produced in line with Article 14 of the Meinbutus Federated Communities constitution.


Before the electoral process, a motion was moved by Mr. Lucky Ebi from Bulouama community for the dissolution of the comr. Powei Egbele led interim executive and it was seconded by Mr Egirigi Text from Ogbokune community.

The electoral process saw the emergence of comr. Moni Denco as the newly elected national chairman of Meinbutus, comr. Brown Ebi, mobilization officer, Sunday Powei , spokesman, Tina Sunday, woman leader amongst other officers.

The founding fathers that were present at the historic event includes, comr Ebis Moni the pioneer chairman, Elder Lawrence Akpeti, chief Olando Commander the prime Minister of the kingdom, Elder Richard Debekeme, Amb. Dibi Yinkore, chief Richard Enaride, Alaowei Afore Poweide the elders secretary and the various community stakeholders were ably present at the occasion.

The Amananaowei in his capacity advised Meinbutus citizens to remain calm and abide by the constitution of the Meinbutus.

Meanwhile, there are indications that other group within Meinbutus have expressed dissatisfaction over the process leading to the emergence of the new leadership.
