UPU: Call Your People To Order Now, Ogbe-Ijoh IYC Tells Governor Oborevwori

OGBE-IJOH/ALADJA CRISIS, IJAW YOUTH COUNCIL (IYC) OGBE-IJOH WARRI KINGDOM CALL ON RT HON SHERIFF OBORIWVORE GOVERNOR OF DELTA STATE TO CALL HIS KINS MEN, UHROBO PROGRESSIVE UNION (UPU) TO ORDER
The leadership of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom write to inform the Government of Delta State and the reading public that after watching the video published by an online TV on August 7th, 2023; Tagged Urhobo Progressive Union (UPU) Pay Strategic Visit to Aladja in respect of the unabating crisis between Ogbe-Ijoh an Ijaw speaking community which happens to be the Headquarters of Warri South West LGA, and Aladja community an Urhobo speaking tribe from Udu local Government area of Delta State that is trending on all social media platforms, that.
1. From the Speech of the leadership of the UPU delegation to Aladja Community, it is confirmed and obvious that the lingering bloody crisis between both communities are sponsored by the entire Urhobo Nation, as such giving leaverage to Aladja on it’s incessant unabating attack on the helpless Ogbe-Ijoh people as affirmed in the video.
2. Beside, we also saw in same video when the UUC (UDU Urhobos Communities (Made up of all the communities in UDU kingdom) Chairman and the Chairman of Aladja community vividly states that they are happy, the Urhobo Progressive Union (UPU), their parent umbrella body have come to their aid and rescue. With this kind mind set or utterances in the video, it is obvious; the crisis between Ogbe-Ijoh and Aladja will not end in the nearest future if the government of the state do not take drastic step or action to place security men on ground to monitor both communities pending the determination of the court case, and off cause there’s a potential possibility that the crisis may likely escalate to the fringes and hinterlands of Urhobo settlements, therefore it’s a signal for all Ijaws within Urhobo settlements, especially on UDU land to be vigilant to save his/her life as the Urhobos are not sympathetic like the Ijaws.
3. The land the UPU leadership or delegation is referring to is what we don’t understand as Ogbe-Ijoh people, we the Ogbe-Ijoh people will not cede any part of our land to them (Aladja and Urhobo Progressive Union) because we have no boundary with the Aladja people but Ovwian community, except the court pronounced otherwise.
It’s also apparently clear from the recorded video on some perceived plans best known to them, as such a word is enough for the wise, especially from the utterances deduced from the video.
It is pertinent to note and to appeal to the Executive Governor of Delta State; Rt Hon Sheriff Oboriwvore Francis, as a matter of urgency take some measures to save lives and properties because the utterances/comments made by the leadership of UPU, is cystally clear that the Urhobo Nation is planning genocide against Ogbe-Ijoh people and the Ijaw Nation at large.
On this note, I want the whole world to know that the Ijaws are not conquered people, that we will at all cost protect and defend our territories no matter the gang up from Urhobo Progressive Union (UPU) against the people of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom.
