A youth leader in Patani Local Government Area of Delta State, Comr. Raymond Nanaere has rejected the 7th Term  ambition of Hon. Nicholas Ebomo Mutu who has been representing the Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency since 1999.

Comr. Raymond Nanaere

Comr. Raymond Nana-ere made his rejection known to newsmen in Patani Local Government Area yesterday while hosting some youths in the Local Government via a statement he signed and issued to newsmen, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.

The youth leader particularly described the 23 years representation of Mutu as wasteful and unproductive, stressing that his representation has not addressed any of the age long yearnings of the people, rather it has brought untold hardship to the people with no end in sight.

He continued that Hon. Mutu cannot continue to be a permanent creature and an ancestor in the National Assembly, adding that the grace he has been enjoying from the people since 1999 is enough as it is now time for him to vacate the seat for other serious developmentally oriented leader like Rt. Hon. Basil Okolobawei Ganagana to come in.

However, Mr. Raymond said come 2023, Hon. Mutu will be clocking 24 years in the House of Representatives representing Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency with no reasonable thing to show for, stressing that enough is enough.

Nevertheless, Nanaere asserted that as of now, Hon. Mutu is almost the oldest lawmaker in the Federal House of representatives and has handled chairman of several juicy committees in the House including House of Reps Commitee on NDDC, stating that Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency is yet to have anything like power supply not to talk of reasonable road networks influenced by the lawmaker and other burning developmental needs.

Speaking further, Raymond said Rt. Hon. Basil Okolobawei Ganagana has offered himself to salvage the people of Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency from the scurges of unproductive representation.

Nanaere particularly urged delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to embrace and vote for Ganagana as the way out from the over two decades of alleged misrepresention, maintaining that Hon. Ganagana is a tested and trusted leader that has made his historic mark in the Delta State House of Assembly and the state at large.

The Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency is not Mutu’s private company, he should honourably leave the seat for others, 6th tenure of 24 years is not a joking matter, we have suffered enough and we don’t want to continue in the suffering prey. There must be an end to every thing “. Nanaere stated.

Meanwhile, all efforts geard towards reaching out to Hon. Nicholas Ebomo Mutu to hear his reaction proves abortive as at the time of filing this report
