Again, Dekawei Foundation Pays Fees Of Stranded Students In Anambra

As part of its efforts in rendering assistance to the needy across Nigeria and beyond, a renowned Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), the John Dekawei Foundation (JDF) has paid and totally cleared the School Fees of students in Michael Tansi Memorial Secondary School Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government, Anambra State.

Speaking to newsmen in Lagos after paying the School Fees, Founder and Chairman of the John Dekawei Foundation, Amb. John Dekawei asserted that he got the information in Lagos when his friend was talking about the situation in the school.

Highly touched by the story, he immediately established contact with the authorities of Michael Tansi Memorial Secondary School Aguleri in Anambra East Local Government Area, Anambra State.

Dekawei hinted The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide that instead of two students that he had been informed of, he later ended up accommodating others making it a total of four (4) students owing to their helpless and pathetic situation that they have been grappling with. 

Tagbo Chinaza

The students who benefited from the benevolence of John Dekawei Foundation include Tagbo Chinaza, Tagbo Favour all in SS2 as well as  Nnebife Moses and Igbegbuam Chinenye in SS3.

The Foundation had graciously paid the fees of the students from first, second to third term running into hundreds of thousand Naira.

When asked on what triggered him to embark on the charitable gesture, Chairman of JDF, Amb. John Dekawei had asserted that the foundation is doing it for the Lord Almighty and as a token of his contribution towards building a decent society. 

He said if the young ones gets the needed educational upbringing, there is high tendency that they might grow to become future leaders of the country in their different fields. 

The renowned Niger Delta philanthropist stated that as long as the Lord Almighty keeps blessing him, he will not relent in adding value to the society by assisting the needy within his powers. 

However, on her part, Onyealisi Chinonye, Bursar/Cashier of the Michael Tansi Memorial Secondary School, Aguleri in Anambra State had described the gesture of Dekawei as rare, praying that the Lord Almighty shall continue to increase him and the foundation financially and otherwise.

Onyealisi maintained that the school management is highly surprised to see the John Dekawei Foundation showing up for the stranded and helpless students, adding that the Lord Almighty will be  happy with Dekawei Foundation. 

In her words: “For the sake of these children, your pocket will never run dry”.

Nevertheless, parents of the students in a similar manner had all prayed for Dekawei and the foundation to grow beyond human comprehension, stressing that such act is rare as someone will pay school fees of students  without even knowing the parents nor the students.

They particularly prayed to the Lord Almighty to continuously guide and protect Dekawei, asserting that a huge financial burden has been lifted off their shoulders, maintaining that if not for John Dekawei Foundation, they wouldn’t have known the educational fate of their children. 

Meanwhile, The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report that the Michael Tansi Memorial Secondary School Aguleri is owned by St. Joseph Catholic Church Aguleri Archdiocese of Onitsha,  Anambra State.

It was learnt that Rev. Fr. Michael Anyichie is the Manager and principal of the school.
