Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in ward Eleven (11), Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Comr. Moses Agbobulagha yesterday hosted ward chairmen across Burutu Local Government Area. 

The hosting was done at Obotobo 1 community, a major oil producing community in Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. 

The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report that 10 out of the 11 ward chairmen across Burutu Local Government Council were in attendance and they were well received by Chiefs in Obotobo 1 & 11, community leaderships in Sokebolou, Yokiri and what have you. 

The ward chairmen that attended include Mr. Blessing Ezonfade, ward 4, Mr. Akpodikumo O. Okosuye, ward 8, Mr. Funebi Agai, ward 9, Hon (Chief) Akpoerebo Clarke, ward 10, Comr. Moses Agbobulagha,  ward 11 (the host), Mr. Kebbi Oyakemeagbegha, ward 1, Mr. Ambrose Oseseama, ward 2, Mr. Defence Ebi, ward 3, Hon. Tito Young ward 5, Mr. Oduma Tamaramieye, ward 6 exept for ward 7 that was absent due to circumstances beyond his control. 

Speaking during the hosting ceremony at the famous genesis hotel in Obotobo 1 community, Comr. Moses Agbobulagha appreciated his colleague ward chairmen that honoured his invitation, stressing that he will continue to owe them in high esteem. 

According to him, the hosting was to cement the bond of unity among them, stressing that as ward chairmen, he will want the existing love and unity among them to continue until even after elections. 

He noted that with unity among themselves, there is nothing they cannot achieve, stressing that they should speak in one voice even as they go about the PDP primaries in ensuring that credible leaders are voted to represent the party in the 2023 general elections.

The ward 11 PDP Chairman also stated that he will be very happy to grace such hosting from among any of the award chairmen if they so decide to host, stressing that the bond of unity among them  should continue. 

However, earlier,  while receiving massive entertainment from the chairmen of Sokebolou and Yokiri communities in Ogulagha Kingdom, Engr. Moses Ibilou and Comr. Churchill Dose, they had all in similar manner appreciated the Burutu Local Government PDP Ward Chairmen for the visit, describing the visit as an historic one.

Speaking further, the duo of Churchill and Ibilou had all appealed  to the ward chairmen to vote for Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, House of representatives who is seeking to be re-elected into same house. 

They continued that Pondi is son of the soil hence they are appealing to the conscience of the ward chairmen as super delegates in the party primaries, adding that a vote for him will mean a vote for continued progress in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. 

Nevertheless, the duo asserted that the ward chairmen are welcome to Sokebolou and Yokiri communities in Ogulagha Kingdom anytime and anyway, adding that they so much like the level of unity that exists among them. 

Meanwhile, speaker after speaker among the ward chairmen had lauded Comr. Moses Agbobulagha for the hosting, adding that they will not forget in a hurry about the lavish entertainment from Obotobo I & 11, Sokebolou and Yokiri communities in Ogulagha Kingdom including prominent chiefs in the Kingdom.

They particularly described Ogulagha Kingdom as hospitable and vowed to continue to cement the existing relationship among them, adding that they will do all within their powers to stay united even after the primaries and the general elections. 

It would be recalled that the party chairmen were hosted till dawn as there were lots of merriment and sound system to make the ceremony colourful. 

High point of the ceremony was the unity dance by all the ward chairmen that turned out for the hosting.
