Agediga, A Thorough Representation Of Okowa In The Grass Root – IDM
A group operating under the aegis of Ijaw Defenders Mandate (IDM) have lauded the sterling leadership qualities of Amb. Dr. Comr. Shedrack Agediga, Executive Director, Planing, Research and Statistics (PRS), Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC ).
This was contained in a statement personally signed by the President of Ijaw Defenders Mandate (IDM), Comr. John Gbozimor, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide earlier today.
Comr. John Gbozimor particularly described Amb. Dr. Comr. Shedrack Agediga as a direct representation of Okowa at the grass root level in Delta State and beyond, stressing that appointing Agediga as ED, PRS, DESOPADEC was one of the greatest appointment that has been so beneficial to the Ijaw people.
According to him, there are so many striking similarities in terms of leadership between Governor Okowa and his political son Agediga.
Commenting on the personality of Agediga, John Gbozimor said he is pure in heart and a detribalized politician, stressing that he is a blessing to whoever that comes his way, adding that he most times displeases himself to please others.
The group maintained that while it is not a political group, it has followed the activities and leadership qualities of Agediga for years now, stressing that the commendation has become necessary.
The statement continued that beside contributing his quota towards the growth and development of DESOPADEC and its mandate areas, Agediga has used his Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), the Shedrack Agediga Foundation to change and transform the lives of many across Niger Delta region, maintaining that men like Agediga are few in Nigeria and deserved to be commended by all right thinking Nigerians.
In their words”Amb. Dr. Shedrack Agediga has over the years proven himself worthy to be celebrated over and over again. You are a capable leader that is truly representing Okowa at the grass root. He think carefully before saying or doing anything, he is meticulous and a strategist, a man with great knowledge and unprecedented wisdom about politics, humanity and life in general.
“The people of Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State should be very proud of him as we are lucky to have him in this generation. As a group, it is our prayer that Agediga finds himself in a more higher political office in the next political dispensation and beyond, he is no doubt making the youths of Delta State proud. “
