Agediga tasked media practitioners to adhere to ethical standards

Special Assistant, SA to the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on Conflict Resolution, Amb. Shedrack Agediga has tasked media practitioners to always adhere to the ethical standards governing the profession.

Amb. Agediga, one of the most working and performing SAs in the Governor Okowa’s administration made the call on Tuesday in his Warri office during a visit by the Publisher of The Liberator Newspaper, Comr. Binebai Yerin Princewill.

It would be recalled that the SA is the chairman of the Shedrack Agediga Foundation, a Non Governmental Organization that have transformed and still transforming the lives of many across the country.

He had however, described the media as a powerful tool that can be used for social reconstruction of any given society.

Meanwhile, Amb. Shedrack had commended Niger Deltans for embracing the media recently especially its ownership.

Nevertheless, Princewill had in his speech described Amb. Agediga as a man that had worked and needed to be rewarded for his good works in transforming the lives of many across the country even without a juicy position in the government.

Binebai had noted that with people like Agediga occupying a government position, the society will be a better place and politics will make more meaning and sense .
