Agediga to chairman grand finale of Idumunimi-Amanimi festival of Obotobo tomorrow – The Liberator
According to an information announcing the festival, signed by the duo of Mr. Joseph Monday, Chairman Planning Committee and Comr. Perezide Oruezonemi, secretary stated that the ancient festival will dovetail to its grand finale on Friday (tomorrow) 7th of February 2020 at Obotobo I community.
The Organizers have particularly invited sons and daughters of Ogulagha kingdom, Niger Delta, particularly descendants of Obotobo I community and members of the general public to grace the ancient annual festival.
However, it was learnt that the Royal father of the day is His Royal Majesty, Elder (Capt) Joseph Timiyan, JP, Torubobou I, Agbonu, the paramount ruler of Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
Others include, Double Chief Felix Ebah, Obotobo I community chairman as Chief host while Mrs. Patient Temewei will grace the festival as Chairlady as well as dignitaries from all works of life that will be storming the grand finale of the festival tomorrow.
Dramatic masquerades known as Agula, Kiriofieowu, Seigibiniebide, football matches, various traditional displays, dance procession as well as other interesting activities have been billed for the three days superlative festival.
It was further noted that Ijaw music Kingpin, Alfred Jking will also perform live on stage on the grand finale of the festival at Obotobo I community in Ogulagha kingdom on the 7th of February 2020.
