He said ”It is very unfortunate ,killing someone in his own house is a criminal act, especially the person involves is not a belligerent. Those hiding under communal war to perpetrate crime have over step their boundary as no criminal can hold the state to ransom.”

”We condemn the act in strong terms as the security agents have been asked to fish out the perpetrators as we do not want to give it a communal war coloration as not to escalate the already tense situation. I advice my fellow youths in Ogbe-Ijoh community to stop any retaliatory move as the government and security agents are on top of the matter.”

”The government of Delta State is sad about this ugly incident as we sympathize with the bereaved family. I want our youths to sheath their swords and embrace peace. We shouldn’t celebrating Killing of fellow youths. The holy Bible warns that he that kills by sword ,will die by sword, remember! ”

While assuring that the state government under the leadership of Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa is doing everything within its reach to resolve the endless crisis bedevilling the aforementioned communities, regretted that ”several resolutions have been made to halt further war but it suffered implementation due to lack of cooperation by the leadership of the various communities.”

”I equally appeal with my fellow Aladja community youths to tow the part of peace, as no development will strived in a situation of rancor. Let’s embrace the fact that we are inter-married and built inseparable bonds over the years. So we should learn to resolve of our differences in a roundtable talks and stop further killings of one another.” He advised.
