Amb. Aken Congratulates Chief Ogbona, Describes Him as an Icon of Hope in Niger Delta

Community Peace Ambassador in Delta State, Amb. Edwin Aken has congratulated Chief Joel Izan Ogbona, SSA to the Delta State Governor, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on political matters on his birth anniversary.

Amb. Edwin, a staunch supporter of the Okowa/Otuaro re-election bid made the call earlier today in Warri while celebrating the revered political leader in Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom.

Aken, a former youth president of Ogbe-Ijoh community in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State had described Chief Joel Ogbona Izan as an icon of hope in Niger Delta.

He had particularly stated that the future of Niger Delta is bright with people like chief Izan at the helms of affairs.

“Certainly, there are some categories of people that when they are born into a society, family, Kingdom, Community, Country, Local Government, State and indeed into the World, the society in general began to feel their positive impacts.

“Chief Ogbona is an eloquent testimony of one that have come into this Wold as a beacon of hope to his people, he belongs to the few Niger Deltans with a golden mind, he viewed and sees life as a place not just to merely exist but to put up lasting legacies in the lives of the downtrodden.

“He has a very rare heart of always accommodating his people and always fashioning out ways to see what can be done to better society in his own capacity.

“The SSA is an embodiment of many things, he represent hope, positivism, progress and above all, he has clearly demonstrated that he is truly a God sent to add more meaning in the life of his people.” Amb. Aken asserted.

Meanwhile, family, friends and political associates in Warri South West and beyond had organized a surprised birthday party to host the chief as a demonstration of their love for him yesterday at the Shell Yard at Ogunu.

They had particularly described him as a man of peace and an astute advocate of good governance in Delta State.
