Standard Flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State ahead of the March 6th local government elections, Rt. Hon. Godkonws Angele has condoled with the governor of Delta State Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa over the death of his father Late Pa Arthur Okorie Uzoma Okowa.
Hon. Angele, Immediate past Chairman of Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, in a condolence message personally signed by him, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers of Thurday described the death of the octogenarian as a big loss to the state.
He said Late pa Okowa was an astute educationist, a disciplinarian who through dedication and resilience raised children who are shining lights in the society as exemplified by Gov. Okowa.
The message reads in part. “It is with rude shock that we received the death of late pa Okowa, a loving and caring father whose legacies remain indelible.
“As you morn the death your father, our father, please take solace in the fact that he led a good life, he was a devoted Christian who loved peace and remained passionate about the good of the society until he drew his very last breath.”
“My prayers are to the Okowa’s family and the entire Owa Alero community is for you to traverse this trying moment”
“May God almighty in his infinite mercy grant him a place in his kingdom “ he prayed.
Late pa Okowa died at the age of 88 after a brief illness.
