Chairman of Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State have released the sum of One Million Two Hundred Thousand Naira ahead as part of his contribution in giving late Chief T. M Binebai (JP) a befitting burial at Burutu on Saturday April 2nd 2022. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report.

Angele who personally led a team comprising his Vice Chairman, Chief (Hon) Combolous Ikisah, Hon. Sunny Perekeme, Secretary Burutu Local Government Council, Comr. Mike Edoukumor, Political Adviser to the Burutu Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Nathan Tubotu, SA to Governor Okowa, security personnel attached to the council chairman as well as his media aides handed over the cash to members of the Chief T. M Binebai Burial Finance Committee headed by Hon. Adidi Preboye, SA to His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State on political matters yesterday. 

It would be recalled that during his condolence visit in February 2022 to the Binebai family  at the Ughoton residence of the late Chief, Hon. Godknows Angele had promised to assist the family financially and otherwise in ensuring that the late patriarch is given a befitting burial. 

However, true to his words, Angele and his entourage fulfils his promise by dolling out #1.2m naira to assist the burial process, while  handing the cash over to the Finance Committee, he made some specifics.

Some of the specifics he mentioned while dishing out the cash, Angele said part of the money should be used to buy a cow, some for the children and some to specific persons he considers as his friends as well as other things concerning the burial that he apportioned the cash to. 

He continued that a security arrangements have been made in ensuring that gunboats patrols the waterways and its environs for security, adding that he will be on ground fully to grace the occasion as the Chief Security Officer of the Local Government. 

Speaking further, Angele said he will do anything in ensuring that late Chief T. M Binebai (JP), pioneer former commissioner of DESOPADEC is given a befitting burial, stressing that the late patriarch was like his father, adding that he will do anything to ensure that he is given a proper burial.

In their reaction, Hon. Adidi Preboye, Chairman Chief T. M Binebai Burial Finance Committee lauded Angele for the massive show of love, stressing that the family is highly grateful as a huge burden has been lifted off their shoulder as a family. 

Present during the Angele visit include Mr. Beecroft Binebai, Hon. Adidi Preboye, Comr. Isaiah Ingo, Hon. Joshua Evene, Mss Sandra Binebai, Mrs Adiri Governor, Comr. John Gbozimor, Mr. Kelly Elaweremi, Mr. Ezikiel, Amb. Comr. Binebai Yerin Princewill as well as others.

The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report that 13 days from today is the burial day scheduled to bury the late patriarch of the Binebai family at his compound, Amba in Burutu town, headquarters of the Local Government Area that run for three days (April 2nd to 4th).
