The member representing Burutu North in the Delta State House of Assembly Hon. Asupa Forteta  has commiserated with the families of Late Hon. Tim Owhefere over his death.

Hon Owherefe was until his death the member representing Isoko North in the Delta State House of assembly and  the  majority  leader of the house.

The Liberator Newspapers reports that in a condolence message to the family, Forteta stated that the demise of the law maker was a great loss to the  Delta State House of Assembly, the entire Isoko North Constituency and Delta State at large.

He noted that  as a colleague, Owherefe showed much commitment to legislative business and sponsored many bills that helped promoted democracy and good governance in Delta State.

He also said that the fourth term lawmaker represented his people effectively and was ready to offer greater sacrifices to ensure that his Constituency gets democratic dividends.

He however  lamented that  Owherefe’s exit  has created a large vacuum that will be very difficult to fill.

He prayed God to grant him eternal rest and also grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Late Owherefe died on Wednesday night at the federal Medical Center after a brief illness at the age of 57
