Member representing Burutu North in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon.  Asupa Peter Forteta has sympathized with His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State over the demise of his father Chief Arthur Okorie Uzoma Okowa.



Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta who doubles as the House Committee Chairman  on security, Delta State had particularly described the death of Chief Arthur Okorie Uzoma Okowa as the fall of a mega star in Delta State and beyond. 



Hon. Forteta condoled with Governor Okowa and the attire family via a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Asaba earlier today, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers. 



The statement reads in full below:

… CONDOLENCE MESSAGE TO THE FIRST FAMILY OF DELTA STATE….

On behalf of my humble self (Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta), the good and wonderful people of Burutu 1 State Constituency, DTHA. I wish to graciously expresses my heart felt condolences to the first family, i.e H.E Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi A. Okowa and His entire family, the Ika Nation and Delta State in general over the demise of an Octogenarian, Sir Pa Arthur Okowa, the father to the governor. I pray for the repose of his soul and for God almighty to grant his gentle soul everlasting rest.
