Says he owes all his political achievements to Pa Clark

Leader of the Burutu Local Government Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon. Joseph Asiaye Alubeze has described High Chief Edwin K. Clark as a blessing to the people of Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.

Alubeze made the call earlier today in a press statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Ughelli, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper while reacting to the birth anniversary of the South South leader.

It would be recalled that Hon. Joseph is the councillor representing the people of Kiagbodo in the Burutu Local Government Legislative Arm, a position he has allegedly used in the transformation of lives across the Local Government.

Alubeze had attributed all his political achievements in the Burutu Local Government politics so far as the hand work of Chief Clark, adding that without the national leader, he wouldn’t have come this far politically.

In his words: “Words have failed me to properly thank my father, Chief Dr. E.K Clark on his mighty work in my life, I owe him in a very high esteem, I will continue to stand by him anytime, anywhere and any day, we are proud of having him as our father, hero and mentor”.

However, while commenting on the personality of Pa Clark, Alubeze had further described the Ijaw national leader as an epitome of development whose contributions towards the stability of the Niger Delta region cannot be overemphasized.

He had maintained that there is no better time to celebrate Chief Clark than now that he will be marking his 92 years birth anniversary in Abuja.

Still reeling on the euphoria of heaping praises on the first republican minister, Hon. Joseph had noted that the history of Niger Delta and Nigeria cannot be complete without the mention of Pa. Clark, adding that he could only wish him many more fruitful years ahead.

It would be recalled that Rt. Hon. Joseph Asiaye Alubeze is a third term lawmaker in the Burutu Local Government legislative arm with many developmental strides to his credit, particularly at Kiagbodo, hometown of Chief Clark and beyond.
