Bayelsa: Chief Prebor Congratulates Selebi Tarebi On New Appointment
…Says Governor Diri has made one of the best decision so far

A renowned chief in ancient Iduwini Kingdom, Bayelsa State, Chief Edward Prebor, the Gbabramienwei (Talk na do) of Iduwini Kingdom has congratulated Hon. Selebi Tarebi on his new appointment as Chairman of the Bayelsa State Oil and Gas Task Force (Anti-Bunkering Unit).
Chief Edward Prebor issued the congratulatory message in a statement he personally signed and circulated to newsmen in Yenagoa yesterday, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers.
The Gbabramienwei of Iduwini Kingdom had also heaped praises on His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri, Govermor of Bayelsa State for appointing Hon. Selebi Tarebi to chairman such a high profiled office, stressing that his decision to select Tarebi out of the many scrambling for the office was the best decision ever.
Chief Prebor particularly described the appointment as a right step in the right direction, adding that Selebi is known for his delivering capabilities.
It would be recalled that Chief Edward Prebor is the immediate past Chairman of oil rich Odimodi and its federated communities in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, a position he used in transforming the face of the community with laudable projects embarked upon by his administration.
While speaking on the personality of Hon. Selebi Tarebi, the new chairman of the Bayelsa State Oil and Gas Task Force (Anti-Bunkering Unit), he noted that he has no iota of doubt in him that Tarebi will carry people along as he always put smiles on the faces of his people when given any opportunity.
However, as Chairman of the Bayelsa State Oil and Gas Task Force (Anti-Bunkering Unit), the unit is expected to guide against any illegal bunkering activities across the state.
“While I congratulate Hon. Selebi Tarebi on his new appointment, I also know that he will use his good office to touch and transform more lives in Bayelsa State and beyond, he is a man that hardly eat alone, he always carry people along whenever he is opportuned to do so. This appointment will definitely spour him to do more.
