Kou and Iduwini Youth groups have thrown their weight behind the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Bayelsa state governorship election come November 16.
The group disclosed this when they paid courtesy visit to the commissioner of Trade, Industry and Business Development Hon. Stanley Braboke in his office in Yenagoa.
The delegation which was led by the President of Kou Kingdom National Youth Movement, Mr. Andrew Mietuade said they embarked on the visit to know the way forward from the Hournorable commissioner who according to them happens to be their leader and mentor in the area.
The Hon. Commissioner while addressing the visiting youth delegation urged them to galvanise support for the PDP and firmly support Sen. Douye Diri and Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo Governorship ticket and also pray for a peaceful, credible, free and fair election in the state.
In their reaction, the youth group assured the commissioner that they are strongly for PDP and have resolved to work and support Sen. Douye Diri & Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo for the Nov. 16th 2019 Governorship election.
