A Niger Delta human rights activist, Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill has extolled the virtues of former coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Hon. Kingsley Kuku as he turns 49, describing him as a living legend in the Ijaw struggle for liberation.

Binebai, in a congratulatory birthday message said he is very elated to join other good spirited Niger Deltans around the world in wishing a Niger Delta hero from Arogbo kingdom in Ondo State a blissful birthday celebration.

Amb. Princewill said, though he has not met Kuku in person but he is enthralled with his ”brave intellectual confrontations against the Nigerian State while as a Spokesman to our revered Ijaw Youth Council, IYC worldwide speaks volume about Hon. Kingsley K. Kuku.”
”The world is actually a movie, whatever you do, people are watching whether good or bad, but in the case of Hon. Kuku, his movie has always been good one and eventful so far.” He said.

While recalling Kuku’s days in the IYC , he remaked ”He is no doubt one of those that rebranded IYC as a body to its intellectual status and it has been working well for our good as a people from this part of the world. The undying love the likes of Kuku has for Ijaw nation is equal to non, only few people have such love for the Ijaw nation. His likes are few.”

He said Kuku is ”sound intellectually, politically wonderful and above all a man with unprecedented wisdom from above, he has liberated places, people and still liberating from where he is.”

”Beside leaving behind legacies as one of the most vocal and articulate Spokesman the IYC worldwide has ever produced since its establishment, Kuku has invested his hard earned resources and intellectually capacity in negotiating a better deal for the Ijaws and Niger Deltans in general.”

”Again while serving as Coordinator of the Niger Delta Amnesty Programme and Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Niger Delta affairs, Kuku performed well and till date remains a man to beat in the history of the Niger Delta Amnesty Programme as one of the most performed amnesty boss.”

”His political incarceration is due to the unquenchable love he has for Ijaw nation and despite his present turmoil, we believe that as Ijaw people, he will come out tougher, stronger and better.”

”He has changed the destinies of many Ijaws, Niger Deltans and Nigerians for good and we will all continue to pray for him as he is a good man.

”There is this school of thought that I also ascribe to that Hon Kuku and Dr. Patrick A . Ziakede were the most performed political appointees under Goodluck Jonathan.

”I therefore use this medium to call for the freedom of Kingsley Kuku as a remains one of the most illustrious living legend in our struggle for self identity. Nothing will gladden my heart to see the freedom of Kuku and Tompolo.”

He prayed God to bless him with ”long life and prosperity, good health, freedom and more money to his bank accounts.”
