Birthday: Otuaro The Historic Deputy Governor That Has Brought Development To Delta Ijaws – Dekawei
Niger Delta renowned human rights activist cum philanthropist, Amb. John Dekawei has stated that his Excellency, Barr. (Dcn) Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, Deputy Governor of Delta State has went through a lot in bringing development to the Ijaws of Delta State.
Amb. John Dekawei, chairman of the John Dekawei Foundation (JDF) made the assertion earlier today in Warri while reacting to the birth anniversary of the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Barr. (Dcn) Kingsley Burutu Otuaro via a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.
Dekawei stated that it is no longer news that Otuaro is the first ever deputy Governor that the Ijaws have produced in Delta State since the creation of the state, stressing that his activities over the years have not let the Ijaws in Delta State down.
The renowned Niger Delta human rights activist had maintained that prior to this era, the problems bedeviling the Ijaws of Delta State has been described as an ignominious neglect from the powers that be, adding that since the emergence of Otuaro as deputy Governor of Delta State, the hirthrto ugly narrative is changing for good.
Speaking further, Amb. John Dekawei noted that Barr. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro is like a pathfinder for the Ijaws of Delta State, adding that he has been able to work and come out strong despites the daunting challenges he has been facing as a deputy Governor, maintaining that the entire Ijaw nation is proud of him.
However, John Dekawei had particularly stated that more than ever, riverine communities and Ijaw communities in Delta state have been visited with some appreciable level of road projects and other forms of development, insisting that such level of progress can be attributed to the contributions of the Delta State deputy Governor, Barr. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro.
Nevertheless, the Niger Delta social crusader stated that Otuaro has done his part for the growth and development of Delta Ijaws and beyond.
Meanwhile, John Dekawei has prayed for long life and prosperity and more political uplifment to Barr. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, Deputy Governor of Delta State, stressing that he is always proud of him.
