Boro Day: Agediga Celebrates Late Boro,  Describes Him As A True Niger Delta Hero

Global peace advocate cum renowned Nigerian philanthropist, Amb. Dr. Comr. Shedrack Agediga, Executive Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) has celebrated late Major Jasper Adaka Boro, describing him a man of truth, justice and a core defender of Niger Delta and the Ijaw people. 

The DESOPADEC Executive Director made the remark in a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Warri earlier today while celebrating Boro Day, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide. 

The statement reads in full below:

The life and times of Major Isaac Adaka Boro as like many Ijaw men before him, inspired courage, standing for justice and truth, no matter the cost for many Generations.
It is these uncommon characteristics that has endeared Major Boro and all those who stood with him to our hearts forever.

As we celebrate Adaka Boro, let’s not forget the virtues of Sacrifice that is evident throughout his Glorious sojourn that we comomerate as Ijaw National holiday.
Let us pursue this virtue and more with a renewed spirit of togetherness through our collective commitment to the Agendas of our national front.
I Celebrate with all our Kith and Kin of Ijaw nation.
