Former commissioner for Trade and Business Development in Bayelsa State, Hon. Stanley Braboke has congratulated His Excellencies Sen. Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State and his deputy Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpor on the successful inauguration.

Hon. Braboke issued the congratulatory message yesterday in Yenagoa, via a statement he personally signed and circulated to newsmen, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.

The multiple award winning leader from Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State particularly praised immediate past Governor of the state, His Excellency, Henry Seriake Dickson for his role during and after the Bayelsa State governorship election.

He described Seriake Dickson as a great political leader in the Niger Delta region and not just in Bayelsa State, stressing that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the state would continue to owe him in high esteem.

Braboke noted that he is proud to have worked under him as a former Governor of the state, stressing that Bayelsans will always remember him for his transparency briefings, massive infrastructural development, revamping of the traditional institution, transformation of the educational system, security as well as other shinning legacies that the restoration government headed by Dickson is leaving behind.

The statement noted that the ultimate appreciation goes to the Lord Almighty in making it possible for the PDP to continue its dominance in the state, stressing that if not for God, the party wouldn’t have been victorious at the end of the day.

Describing God as the ultimate, Braboke said the judgment came at a time where almost all the PDP members in the state were losing hope.

The former commissioner further appreciated the efforts played by the core PDP members in the state that did not waver when the political tides where rough in the state.

Hon. Stanley expressed confidence on the duo of Governor Diri and his deputy that they are all political gladiators with proven track records that will no doubt transform Bayelsa State to an enviable height.

He had charged Bayelsans to get ready to experience a more aggressive development in the state, adding that citizens of the state must give peace a chance but to rather join forces with the Governor in building a more stronger Bayelsa.
