Reports reaching the News Desk of The Liberator Newspaper indicates that Comr. Akin Disi has emerged winner of the just concluded youth president election in Odimodi and its federated communities in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
A source who hinted our reporter noted that Akin defeats his rivals to covet the highest youth office in the community with a total of 25 votes against his closest rival Elliot Asamabiri who scored 2 votes, stressing that there is currently massive jubilation in Odimodi owing to the landslide victory of Akin.
It was learnt that three persons contested for the office which include Comr. Akin Disi, Comr. Asamabiri Elliot as well as Desmond Gbegha.
While Akin scored 25 votes to become the president elect, Elliot got two votes while Desmond Gbegha pulled zero votes.
There were also numerous invalid votes.
