According to reports reaching the News desk of The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide, Amb. Anthony Ebitonmo Alapala, popularly known as Odumalagba has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for Burutu North House of Assembly ticket. 
This development was made available to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide by Comr. Timi Coleman, publicity secretary of APC in Burutu Local Government Area who shood in for the chairman of APC in Burutu Local Government to supervise the process. 
Comr. Coleman explained that the election took place at Kiagbodo in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State yesterday by 9:30pm, stressing that the election was peaceful without any rancour.
When contacted, Alapala had appreciated delegates and the leadership of the APC for the peaceful conduct of the primary and his eventual victory, stressing that he is dedicating the victory to the Lord Almighty and the leadership of the party. 
Speaking further, Alapala asserted that 2023 general elections in Burutu Local Government will be interesting as it will going to be a battle to win.
However, all efforts geared towards reaching out to other contestants to hear their reactions on the primary elections proves abortive as at the time of filing this report.
