BREAKING: Another Police Yahoo Boy Chase Causes Uproar In Warri
According to reports reaching the news desk of The Liberator Newspapers, another alleged Police Yahoo boy chase has caused uproar around the Ugbomro and Ebrumede axis in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
A source who hinted our reporter but would not want his name to be mentioned in print noted that Policemen from the Ebrumede Police Station few hours ago today chased a suspected Yahoo Boy a hot chase who also ran into Ugbomro community.
The source continued that the police chastised the alleged Yahoo Boy into Ugbomro community who would not want to stop either, stressing that the Police also shots at the said boy who ran with his vehicle and in the process injured about three persons including a market woman and in the process damaging properties.
The market women in solidarity for their fellow trader staged a powerful protest to the Ebrumede Police Station junction close to the DSC roundabout area, causing tension and hampering vehicular movements earlier.
However, Hon. Ramson Onoyake, Chairman Uview Local Government Area of Delta State who got an hint about the matter quickly mobilised to Ugbomro to inspect scene of the incident, promising to take care of the medical bills of the injured persons as well as payment of whatever damages that the chase may have caused.
Meanwhile, our source maintained that the Police could not get hold of the suspected Yahoo Boy as he ran away with his injury.
