BREAKING: Burutu Marine School Announces October 2 As Resumption Date For Academic Activities

Management of the Delta State School of Marine Technology (DESOMATECH), Burutu has announced resumption of academic activities of the institution on the 2nd of October 2020 with strict compliance to Covid-19 guidelines.

This was contained in a public notice made available to newsmen in Burutu, headquarters of the Local Government, signed by Kanbofa A. Party, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the institution, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper. 

The notice reads in full below:

PUBLIC NOTICE.

Further to the directive of His Excellency , Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, the Governor of Delta State and Visitor to Delta State School of Marine Technology, Burutu, the Ag. Provost, Engr. F. Akpoyibo, has , on behalf of Academic board, approved  resumption of academic activities in the school with effect from 2nd October,2020.

Accordingly, staff and students are hereby informed for their noting, compliance and further necessary actions . 

The Ag Provost, on behalf of the Governing Council, Academic board and Management wishes to inform staff , students  and stakeholders that management has put in place appropriate measures in ensuring that COVID-19 guidelines are complied with by Staff and Students.
