BREAKING: Dekawei Foundation To Splash Free Jamb Forms Across All Ijaw Kingdoms In Delta

Chairman and founder of the John Dekawei Foundation (JDF), Amb. John Tolumoware Dekawei has concluded plans to purchase free Jamb Forms to desiring students across all Ijaw Kingdoms in Delta State. The Liberator Newspapers can report. 

Amb. John Dekawei, a renowned Niger Delta philanthropist cum social crusader dropped the hint after the close of a crucial meeting among members of the foundation yesterday in Abuja.

While addressing the press on the development, Dekawei said contributing to the educational development of aspiring students remains one of the cardinal objective of the foundation. 

He continued that the Niger Delta struggle for self identity and emancipation is taking a different approach which he described as the intellectual approach, adding that it is inline with such arrangement that the John Dekawei Foundation will be providing free Jamb Forms to desiring students across all Ijaw Kingdoms in Delta. 

Dekawei revealed that the Jamb Forms will be two persons from each Ijaw kingdom in Delta State, stressing that provided you are an Ijaw from Delta State, one is free to contact the foundation for the free Jamb Forms exercise.

However, the young philanthropist had however tasked those that will be recommending persons for the Jamb Forms to bring forth serious minded people and not people that will not be serious with the exercise.

In his words: “Lack of education among our people before now have caused a lot of setback in our society, it contributed in no smaller measure towards our underdevelopment as a people, to us education is a weapon that should be used to ward off the evil of retrogression and underdevelopment, we have to change our pattern, using the tool of education, this is one of the major reason we are embarking and investing on education at this point in time” 

Speaking further, Amb. John Dekawei explained that the first phase of the exercise will begin with collation of names to reflect all Ijaw Kingdoms in Delta State, adding that the funds for the purchase of funds has been made available already as the process begins from the moment of this publication. 

Amb. Tolumoware stated that the foundation is fully set for the exercise, noting that as soon as the registration portal opens for the Jamb registration, the selected persons will be taken to the Jamb Forms centre to obtain their forms for registration.

The Liberator Newspapers can report that the John Dekawei Foundation has undertaken a lot of humanitarian activities over the years, ranging from  providing food items to the rural dwellers of Delta State during the lockdown days of Covid-19.

The foundation had also cleared the medical bills of several patients with varying peculiar degree of cases and the latest was the donation of land to Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill in Warri, among other things. 

Amb. John Dekawei is President general of the revered Niger Delta Socio Cultural group under the aegis of Delta Ijaw Youth Movement for Political Advancement (DIYMPA), raising the banner of good governance in Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.
