BREAKING: Delta Council Of NUJ To Elect New Leadership Today In Asaba

The National Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Chapter will today elect its leadership to pilot the affairs of Union in the State for the next three years.
The Liberator Newspapers can report that as at the time of filling this report, the two major parties contending for the various positions include Comr. Michael Ikeogwu of the redemption team as well as Comr. Churchill Oyowe of the Prize team.
While the duo are battling on who becomes the next chairman of the Delta State NUJ, others are also battling to occupy the various positions in the NUJ State Council.
The positions include Chairman, Vice, Secretary, Assistant secretary, treasurer, financial secretary as well as auditor.
However, accreditation and voting of Journalists from the various 16 chapels in the state is already taking place at the Labour House, NTA Road, Asaba.
