As Ngbilebiri sons and daughters expresses divergent views

According to reports reaching the news desk of The Liberator Newspaper indicates that Comr. Ebolo Sam, former Speaker, Delta State College of Education Warri has emerged delegate of the Ngbilebiri Clan structure of the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC ahead of the forthcoming national election.
It would be recalled that the Ngbilebiri Clan structure of IYC held its meeting yesterday at Fresville hotel, Okuokoko in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State to select delegate from the clan.
However, briefing our reporter, Comr. Ebolo alleged that his nomination was supported massively by majority in the meeting.
Meanwhile, a source who would not want his name to be mentioned in print stated that there were interests regarding who becomes delegate during the clan congress yesterday, stressing that Comr. Amaikiye Ekaye, the clan chairman, Engr. Duke Angodideke and Comr. Ebolo Samuel all expressed interests to become the delegate.
However, our source maintained that after much deliberation, the house agreed that the chairman of IYC in the clan, Comr. Amaikiye Ekaye should be given the concession as the delegate from the clan since he has spent his time and resources over the years in piloting activities of council for years now.
The source continued that the meeting ended on a good note as the clan chairman hosted all those who attended the meeting with drinks and other items for merriment.
When contacted, Amaikiye in a jubilant mood stated that he remains the authentic delegate of the Ijaw Youth Council in Ngbilebiri Clan, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, stressing that no one can dare to take the delegate slot away from him.
On his part, Amb. Salaco Yerinmene, an Ngbile indigene who attended the meeting noted that the meeting was inconclusive as it was adjourned to Friday where final decision will be taken on who becomes the true delegate from the clan.
